Pre‑Kindergarten Program
Tradewinds Elementary’s Pre‑Kindergarten program provides a nurturing, developmentally appropriate start for our youngest learners. In small-group, play‑based settings, children build early literacy and numeracy, language development, fine and gross motor skills, and social–emotional foundations that prepare them for kindergarten success. Our certified early‑childhood educators use hands‑on centers, songs, stories, and movement to spark curiosity while tailoring support to each child’s needs. Family partnership is central to our approach—we communicate regularly, share progress, and offer simple strategies for supporting learning at home.
ASD Cluster
Our Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Cluster delivers specialized instruction and a supportive environment where students can thrive academically, socially, and behaviorally. Classrooms integrate evidence‑based practices such as visual schedules, communication supports (including AAC), sensory‑friendly spaces, and positive behavior strategies, with goals individualized through each student’s IEP. Students have access to meaningful inclusion opportunities with general education peers as appropriate, and our team collaborates closely with families and related service providers to ensure consistent, student‑centered progress across school and home.
